Frankie's Room
Frankie: "I was appalled! No paneling! So that went up first. The
frog Bud neon sign was nice, so I used a rainforest pattern on the
bed and an upside down frog lamp from the ceiling! The knick-knack
shelf above the bed is romantic. I changed the curtain colors simply
by soaking the curtains in a mixture of beer and Cheez-Whiz." |

Vernon's Room
Vernon: "I 'found' this great carpet remnants in a carpet company
warehouse so I carpeted the floor AND the ceiling! The best find,
though, was the ceramic geese. They aren't lamps, so the room will
be dark at night, but that's what love is for! I made the table out
of a window. I made the curtain out of a bamboo-like rug. I thought
the neon Bud sign with the flamingos goes nice with the geese. It
was amazing how nice the two recliners turned out after simply
gluing cotton balls to them."

Hildabell's Room
Hildabell: "I saw this here room as a perfect place what to put red
in. I put red velvet on the window wall, covering the window so that
dang light don't come in all morning whilst the trailerowner is
sleepin'! I love the Bud neon sign with the lobster for the eatin'
room, which I put on black velvet and framed in red construction
paper. I covered the dinin' room chairs with leftover makeup from my
Mary Kay kit. I used beach towels to cover the ceilin' cause they
had them just layin' out on the beach. I just had to move the radios
and stuff what was layin' on them and they was free! The floor looks
good. I covered it in glue cause I was gonna put down the funny
papers but the glue looked good like it is. It's a little hard to
walk on, though, bein' so sticky."

Dougie's Room
Dougie: "Well, see, it goes a little something like this... I knew
the trailerowners were big fans of Nascar, but they like that little
sissy Jeff Gordon sos I figure I kin irritate them a bit by makin'
the room a shrine to Dale Earnhardt, Sr. God rest his pee-pickin'
heart. I spray painted the big chair black, and made a black vinyl
couch slipcover out of some old Lincoln Conty seats. Tylerone made
me a car for a table out of scrap wood from the paneling what I put
up. I painted the rug and added an ol' recliner I found out in the
shed. It's a little smelly, but it's a good smell like a dog's butt.
I made sconces out of Dale Earnhardt hats and added light with the
Dale Earnhardt candles along the left shelf. I covered the window
with plywood cause we at Trading Trailers are like them folk at
Trading Spaces what hate windows."

Jennie Vavoom's Room
Jennie Vavoom: "I wanted a dramatic change, which is hard as h*ll
with 50 bucks to spend. I started with the ugly floor. I took hair
from my friend Tiffany's floor, cause she cuts peoples hair, ya
know, and put it all over the floor and covered it in Elmer's Glue.
It took a long time to dry sos they gived me exter time sos we don't
get stuck in the kitchen! I took some of my beer can collection and
made a chair and covered the dishwasher and as a spashguard on the
counter. I know that most trailerowners like almond appliances stead
of white, so I glued almonds all over the fridge and oven. I used
melted Skittles on the counter and a Bud sign over the window
curtain I made out of a blanket I found at GoodWill for 50 cents. I
made the kitchen table hang from the ceiling with no legs, and the
trailerowner now uses it as a dancing pole! Yipee - it looks good
AND earns money!"

Loretta's Room
Loretta: "Romance is the key to a good bedroom. And this bedroom is
good. I replaced the bed with white plastic trash bag covered PVC
tubing cause it looks like vinyl, which is so romantic! I put a
small riding crop collection on the wall for those special nights
like anniversaries or birthdays. The lamp is made from a
vinyl-wrapped dummy to keep the head Trailerowner reminded of where
his place is. I liked the way some Trading Spaces folk put blown up
black and white photos of children, but I lost almost all my hair in
the explosion when I tried it. So I just made a photocopy and put it
in the lovely frame what has little baby heads on it. I thought the
leather head mask as a lamp shade on the ceiling fan is a nice
touch. And I left the curtains off the windows cause there is a nice
view of the UPS driver what live next door!
